As a CBRE Facilities Generalist, you will work with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that facility tasks and work orders are complete. This job is within the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Facilities Managers regarding all repairs and project work.
This role will support both Summit, NJ & Skillman, NJ sites (50/50 per week).
What You’ll Do:
Work with vendors to make sure they implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats.
PO support with vendor management and invoice reconciliation
Acknowledge all client inquiries and collect work orders.
Collect information reports to find out performance and progress status.
File work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
Follow guidelines, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions.
Respond to common facilities inquiries from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship.
What You’ll Need:
Organized/Multitasking.
Computer Skills (Excel, Word).
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $21.63 to $26.44 per hour based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
