OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is the largest truck body and trailer manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest. OSWs main facility is located in the Maltby area in Snohomish County. OSW and has been in business for over 20 years and has branches in Edmonton, Canada and Tempe, Arizona.

As a Painter at OSW Equipment you are responsible for painting all OSW products / parts making sure the final touch comes out perfect. If you are bright, highly motivated, and a team player we encourage you to apply!

Painter I Duties/Responsibilities:

- - Has the painting expertise to paint truck chassis and parts on their own.

``` - - Assists with painting dump bodies.

``` - - Read work orders and instructions.

``` - - Follow all safe work practices

```{=html}

``` - - Organize, plan, and prioritize work.

```{=html}

``` - - Inspect equipment, structures, or material.

```{=html}

``` - - Operate mechanized devices, or equipment.

```{=html}

``` - - Clean equipment or machinery.

```{=html}

``` - - Apply cleaning solvents, adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings.

``` - - Mask vehicle body in preparation for painting.

```{=html}

``` - - Distinguish colors.

```{=html}

``` - - Operate mix or blending machine; use hand or power tools.

```{=html}

``` - - Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals, according to specifications.

``` - - Other duties as assigned by leadership.

 

Painter II Duties/Responsibilities:

- - Has the painting expertise to paint any OSW product or parts on their own

Required Skills/Abilities:

- - Ability to work independently.

``` - - Ability to work with power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinders.

``` - - Working knowledge of welding process is helpful.

``` - - Heavy-duty truck aptitude.

```{=html}

``` - - Strong organization, communication, and phone skills.

``` - - Demonstrate exceptional sales, customer service, and time management skills.

``` - - Ability to be extremely well organized, resourceful, and self-motivated.

``` - - Ability to problem solve and make appropriate business decisions with little guidance.

Education and Experience

- - High school graduate, GED, preferred.

``` - - 2-5 years of auto paint experience required
