Description:

The main focus of the Manufacturing/Process Engineer will be reviewing requirements and specs of customer orders then creating the machine routings and process flow to manufacture each product

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing, configuring, and optimizing manufacturing processes from inception through start-up

• Provide process documentation and operating instructions

• Monitor compliance to applicable standards and specifications

• Interact daily with customers and vendors to interpret their needs and requirements

• Review industry standards & requirements and flow them down using Job Traveler

• Collaborate with outside vendors for outsourced services like heat treating and plating

  MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor degree strongly preferred

• 2+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment (internships and co-ops included)

• 3D design experience - SolidWorks preferred, though any CAD package is applicable

• Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers

• Exposure to CNC machining - mills, lathes and/or grinders

• Experience with an ERP or MRP system

NICE TO HAVES:

• Aerospace industry experience

• CAD/CAM experience

• CNC Programming experience

• Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
