Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, while ensuring a safe, secure, and legal work environment. Develop personal growth opportunities for staff. Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed. Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, vice president, president, and other designated contacts within the organization. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Complete all necessary documentation needed by office staff in your area of responsibility. Ensure employees are working efficiently and meeting goals.

Responsibilities

• Use the production schedule to ensure all production lines have the necessary materials.

• Ensure data integrity by verifying employees' products meet our standards and those of our customers.

• Understand and follow quality sign-off procedures.

• Understand and follow all safety procedures.

• Understand and follow all food safety and food quality protocols, ensuring proper documentation as necessary.

• Know and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Work Environment

Work in Plant 1, a roasting facility equipped with oil and dry roasters on site. The facility is not temperature controlled, but windows are opened for air drying of the nuts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Solon, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $62000.00/yr.
