Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on all production and facility equipment and machinery. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety requirements, such as lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain mechanical availability of all equipment, and perform all maintenance and repairs accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on all production equipment and machinery.

• Perform emergency repairs on all production equipment and machinery.

• Conform to all procedures regarding spare parts usage.

• Perform repairs and maintenance according to OSHA and other safety requirements, such as lockout/tagout.

• Perform all maintenance and repairs accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.

• Maintain mechanical availability of all production equipment.

• Maintain mechanical availability of all facility equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

• Ability to sustain physical work for 8+ hours on a standard 3 shift operation or 12+ hours per day on 24/7 operation.

• Ability to perform tasks such as bending, pulling, sight, walking, climbing, and crouching.

Work Environment

The work environment includes moderate noise levels in the office and shop areas where protective ear-coverings are recommended. Employees may sometimes be subject to external weather conditions and will need to accommodate short notice overtime demands according to equipment or facility breakdowns. Repair work on heavy equipment is often performed in a seated position. Interview times are usually Monday-Thursday 10 AM - 2 PM, with a 3 PM interview slot available on Tuesdays. The current opening is on 3rd Shift (Sunday through Thursday) and 12-hour night shifts (6 PM to 6 AM, rotating 3 days/4 days).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
