Duties: Help in all tasks pertaining to the Day to Night Operations of the Ski Area including but not limited to: - Garbage removal; Housekeeping of lodges, shops and offices - Firewood stocking, stoking, and splitting - Snow Removal via equipment or by hand - Salting and Sanding of walkways and parking lot - Furniture rearrangement - Inspecting and identifying equipment or machines in need of repair - Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs - Overall improvement of aesthetics of the ski area - Coordination and Implementation of events May be asked to fill in other departments for positions needed included but not limited to: - Lift Operations - Tubing Attendants - Food and Beverage - Events Other duties that building maintenance workers may perform include: - Performing general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, such as repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures - Performing routine maintenance on building systems - Cleaning and assisting with upkeep of the facilities - Ordering supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance Some qualifications and skills that building maintenance workers may need include: - Manual labor - Standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting - Communicating effectively - Collaborating with others - Building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience - Driver\'s license and clean driving record
