Service Technician

We are the leading fire safety product distributor in the New England area. IPS is a rapidly growing company with a strong emphasis on service. Due to our pace of growth, we need a qualified candidate to assist in our ever-growing service division.

We have an immediate opening for a mechanically inclined individual who is detail oriented and customer service focused for our Maine branch office. This individual will be providing on-site service and installations for a variety of Fire Safety related products. A candidate with experience in the repair and maintenance of S.C.B.A, Breathing Air Compressors or Hydraulic Rescue Tools is a plus but not necessary.

• Do you have a valid driver\'s license? - Required.
• How many years of work experience do you have with Hydraulics?
  • A Plus, but not required.
• How many years of work experience do you have with Field Service?
  • A Plus but not required.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues
• Strong communication skills
• Customer service focused
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Valid Drivers license with a clean record
• Must pass DOT drivers physical and drug screening
