Description

Biotech Company based in Bay Area is seeking a Contract to Permanant Part-time, 100% Remote, Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle accounts payable process. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage all accounts payable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system using Bill.com and Purchasing Point.

• Monitor and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Facilitate payment processing, including issuing checks and managing electronic payments through Brax for credit cards.

• Maintain accurate records and files for all accounts payable transactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and support audit requests.

• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.

• Provide excellent customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries and account issues.

  Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role, preferably in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

• Proficiency in accounts payable software, specifically Bill.com, Purchasing Point, and Brax.

• Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience working in a contract-to-permanent role.

• Familiarity with biopharmaceutical industry regulations and practices.
