Aston Carter Human Resources Specialist in South San Francisco, California

Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Position Summary:

This position will serve as a support role for the HR Department. We are seeking candidates with excellent communication, record-keeping, organization and time management skills. They will work closely with the HR team and cross-functional groups.

What you’ll do:

  • Submit online job postings and refresh job posts monthly

  • Schedule and coordinate job interviews

  • Assist with onboarding activities, scheduling meet and greets, and ensuring system updates occur as needed

  • Maintain personnel files and conduct periodic audits throughout the year

  • Generate, create, and distribute monthly reports to stakeholders

  • Prepare tenure recognition letters

  • Prepare bi-monthly Power Point slides for Company All Hand meetings (new hires, spotlight awards, anniversaries)

  • Support HR team with activities throughout the year, including but not limited to employee communications, engagement initiatives and software implementations

  • Other tasks and responsibilities as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of HR/recruiting operations experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Outlook and Excel

  • Prior knowledge of Namely, Lever and Zoom video platform

  • Nimble working style and comfortable multi-tasking when needed

  • Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the company

  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and discretion on a day-to-day basis

  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong verbal and written communication skills
