Description

Environmental Tectonics Corporation, a growing, dynamic US Company located just outside of Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to manage activities with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of purchasing experience preferably for a custom equipment manufacturer or piping, electrical and/or fabrication company. Other desired qualities include:

• Requisition and purchase order preparation

• Maintenance of procurement records (items such as purchased costs, delivery, quality or performance and inventories)

• Strong vendor management and customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers is a must.

• Ability to read and interpret contract documents and technical specs to purchase items.

• Self-motivated, highly organized, and uses their time efficiently.

  This is a Full Time 40 hour a week position and also offers opportunity for career progression.
