• Exercising your creativity, independent thinking and technical skills, you will determine the required technical application data and collaborate with lab scientists to provide technical solutions to customers relative to crop protection products

• Relying on relationships with customers and industry experts and your proven record of translating customer needs into well-defined technical requirements, you will lead projects with minimal supervision and independently plan and execute work in the context of team input to arrive at customer solutions.

• You will identify new business opportunities, generate new ideas, contribute to the innovation pipeline, and translate customer activities into useful information for marketing and sales teams.

• Your technical presentation skills and effective communication with varying stakeholders will be essential as you generate technical progress and project reports, as well as scientific abstracts and/or journal publications.

• Focusing on growing the business, you will develop the technical strategy necessary to support strategic growth and relationship building at key customers.

• Your strong customer focus and ability to be a team player with external and internal stakeholders will aid you in understanding customer needs through close interaction / frequent visits and providing solutions that effectively and profitability address identified needs.

• Collaborating effectively, you will be responsible for proposal development and execution of customer projects and validate, refine and implement in close collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

• Leveraging your experience in technical service, product development, or relevant technical field, you will provide regional technical application expertise to address customer inquiries.

If you have...

• A Ph.D. with preferably a minimum of 7 years OR a M.S. with preferably a minimum of 10 years coupled with industry experience in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related scientific discipline of relevance to the crop protection market

• Experience in technical service, product development or related field.

• Project management, planning and execution.
