Description
Robert Half is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Spokane Valley, WA, to find a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper for an immediate contract or contract-to-hire position. This role is perfect for candidates who have comprehensive experience with full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, financial statement preparation, and working closely with external CPA firms.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage all aspects of the accounting process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: Oversee vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing the company’s cash flow.
Payroll Processing: Process payroll in compliance with regulations, ensuring accurate deductions, benefits, and timely distribution.
Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
CPA Firm Collaboration: Collaborate with the company’s external CPA firm to ensure proper tax reporting, audits, and overall financial compliance.
QuickBooks Management: Manage and maintain QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial records.
General Ledger Maintenance: Record journal entries and ensure the general ledger remains accurate and up to date.
Requirements
QuickBooks proficiency is required.
Experience with payroll processing and knowledge of payroll systems.
Strong ability to prepare financial statements and manage AP and AR functions.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners (including CPA firms).
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
Experience with manufacturing accounting or working with manufacturers is a plus.
