Job Summary
Responsible for the production of shop drawing packages necessary for equipment production, assembly and testing, prepared from customer drawings and specifications.
Primary Job Requirements
- Oversee production of design documents necessary equipment production
- Serve as Project Manager (when required) for above-described projects and various build to print projects
- Provide engineering support to other engineer's projects, likely serving as a subject matter expert in a particular area(s) as assigned by management
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and subcontractors regarding design requirements
- Prepare drawings and bills of material necessary for equipment production
- Ensure designs are in compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Participate in assembly, testing, installation and commissioning of systems including associated report generation
- Prepare Installation, Operations and Maintenance manuals
- Periodic domestic required depending upon customer and company business needs
- In order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required
- Abide by company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- Minimum of three (3) years related Mechanical Engineering experience

Prepare complete project documents

Assigns tasks to and coordinates work with Engineers level 1 and Designers Coordinates with other departments as necessary
Plans and coordinates detail aspects of the engineering work. Monitors scopes and schedules for assignments

Receives general direction on key objectives
Receives guidance when necessary on unconventional or complex problems, direction on modified techniques, and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria
- Communication Skills
Demonstrated oral and technical writing skills
Lead technical project meetings with Customer and present specific aspects of engineering solution
Represents their organization at important functions or conferences
Working Environment
