Builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications and looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems. Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions. Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements. Provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. Part of a team designing and developing large scale, multitenant microservices, running on Kubernetes, hosted in the public cloud. Develops code that utilizes cloud-based services such as Kafka, Postgres, S3, Redis, etc. Occasionally acts as a lead for the team - investigating new areas and sharing out knowledge, e.g., with a current testing effort. Telecommuting is permissible.

Position requires a Bachelors or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus seven (7) years of experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained; or, alternatively, a Masters or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
