Job Description

An employer in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead AV Technician to join their Service team. The Lead AV Technician is responsible for the maintenance/ troubleshooting & installation of commercial and professional audio visual equipment at various sites. This position requires working closely with project managers, general contractors, sub-contractors, and clients to complete projects on time, within budget, and with excellent quality.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience installing & troubleshooting commercial AV systems

   - Previous experience being a Lead AV Technician

   - Familiar with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP Systems.

   - Ability to read and implement construction and signal flow drawings.

   - High standards of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimping.

   - Ability to test completed systems fully for both engineering specifications and operational functionality.

Must be okay with everyday travel in the Houston area & occasionally College Station in a provided company vehicle. - Network cabling is a plus.

• CTS or Manufactures certifications are a plus. null
