Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic entry-level Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about identifying and attracting top talent to support our company’s current and future needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth as you learn and develop recruitment skills in a technologically diverse environment. This position will work closely with our Sr. Corporate Recruiter to support our division managers by sourcing and screening candidates for various business, technical, sales, and customer service positions across our organization. This position will work independently as well as with a small team to find passive candidates for our harder-to-fill positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ideal candidate profiles that will lead to targeted recruitment efforts to find quality candidates.

  • Create and post job profiles on various digital advertising platforms.

  • Source talent through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events.

  • Review and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates for further consideration.

  • Assist with and/or conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates skills and alignment with the company and division culture.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and technical leads.

  • Maintain and update the candidate database and prepare recruitment reports and analytics.

  • Stay current with new technologies and resources to incorporate that knowledge into the talent search.

  • Conduct or assist with pre-employment screenings as required.

  • Contribute to the overall improvement of recruitment processes and strategies.

  • Be an active part of the Human Resources team by learning and assisting with general HR duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience performing recruiting/sourcing, human resources, or sales functions. Education in business, communications, human resources, or marketing may be substituted for professional experience.

  • Strong customer service skills with a desire to work together as a team for positive outcomes.

  • Strong interpersonal skills will be critical to interact with hiring managers and candidates for successful recruitment efforts.

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks determine priorities successfully or seek out guidance accordingly.

  • Strong technical skills to quickly adapt and independently learn recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other digital platforms.

  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.

  • You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Stronger Candidates will have the following:

  • Working in human resources or marketing and communications.

  • Direct experience working with resume databases and sourcing tools.

  • Direct experience working with applicant tracking systems and related software applications.

  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment.

Organization Structure and Interfaces:

This position will report to the Director of Human Resources while having a strong collaboration with the Sr Corporate Recruiter and other HR colleagues.

This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, IL with an opportunity for a hybrid remote schedule after an initial training period. In addition to our excellent culture and benefits package, we offer a casual dress environment that our employees enjoy!

Location and Compensation:

This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, IL with an opportunity for a hybrid remote schedule after an initial training period.

The salary range for this full-time position is $45,000 - $52,000 annually. The starting salary will vary depending on factors including education and experience. In addition to our excellent culture, onsite fitness center, and comprehensive benefits package, we offer a voluntary casual dress program that our employees enjoy!
