As a

Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and construction oversight for new generation facilities while also developing and executing projects within our existing power generation fleet.

What You'll Do:

• Review designs and calculations for foundations, structures, grading plans, and other civil structures performed by architect engineers.
• Oversee contractors performing civil work on-site to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist existing facilities with civil or structural projects.
• Support the Environmental Department with SWPP plans, SPCC plans, and other environmental permitting requirements.
• Manage or assist in procurement activities, including developing RFPs, conducting bid evaluations, and negotiating terms.
• Develop and write technical specifications for engineering, equipment, and construction scopes of work.
• Travel approximately 50% to generating facilities.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience preferred (all levels considered).
• Strong understanding of structural and civil design principles.
• Ability to oversee construction projects and work collaboratively with contractors.
• Experience with environmental compliance in industrial settings is a plus.
• P.E. license preferred.
