Grex Construction, Inc. is seeking six temporary full-time construction laborers within the geographical area of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. The job will include worksites in Macomb, Oakland, Wayne and Genesee counties. Grex Construction is a flatwork concrete company proudly serving Southeast Michigan. Our team has decades of experience in bringing our clients' projects from the conceptual stage to the finished product. The worker will be required to arrive at the place of employment in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Grex Construction will provide transportation to the work sites and all the necessary tools, equipment and supplies for the job task without charge or deposit. Grex Construction will also provide on-the-job training.

The work hours will be from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm from Monday -- Friday - 45 hours a week. Must be able to work some Saturdays. If there are more than 40 hours worked in a week, he or she will be paid time and a half for all hours worked more than 40 hours. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The worker will be paid weekly, and Grex Construction will use a single workweek as its standard computing wages due. The job position is for temporary need starting March 15, 2025 and ending December 1, 2025. Grex Construction will make all appropriate deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law and does not intend to withhold any deductions that are not required by law.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare job site for laying of concrete. Use tools such as hammers, shovels, and rakes. Assist cement workers with various tasks. Clean up debris and other materials at the job site when finished.
