Manchester Packaging Company is custom manufacturer or polyethylene packaging products, operating for 54 years. MPC is searching for a qualified Human Resources Manager. This position is on-premises at our manufacturing plant in St. James, Mo, Monday through Friday. Manufacturing operates multiple departments with various schedules, currently running Monday through Friday, 24 hours per day.

Qualifications include:

• At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar position.
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal directly with a diverse employee roster.
• Ability to work with Department Managers on all HR Matters.

Duties include:

• Processing weekly payroll.
• Administer 401(k) and medical insurance for all employees.
• Work with Department Managers and employees regarding work schedules, attendance, disciplinary actions, vacation schedules, and training.
• Help develop and maintain employee training programs.
• Conduct activities to enhance employee satisfaction while maintaining operational productivity.
• Help MP with continuous improvement goals.

Salary is negotiable and based on experience and demonstrated results.
