The Cigna Group Business Development Senior Advisor – Medicaid/Marketplace Client Strategy - Express Scripts - Hybrid in St. Louis, Missouri
POSITION SUMMARY
The Medicaid/Marketplace Client Strategy Senior Advisor serves as the primary contact for Medicaid/Marketplace strategic initiatives and market development. You will become a subject matter expert (SME) on Medicaid/Marketplace drug coverage, Express Scripts Programs and Products and State and Federal Regulations.
Responsible for contributing and driving the client strategy to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of the support model. S/he provides strategic direction in executing product adoption and sales support in collaboration with account teams to support our clients. This client-facing position will take a lead role in sales support for current clients. Using market knowledge to support product development, manage work plans, perform data analysis, as well as work cross functionally with research, sales and account management, client and patient services and other functional areas as needed. This position serves as a contact for Medicaid/Marketplace strategic initiatives and market development. The Medicaid/Marketplace Client Strategy Senior Advisor plays a critical role in the interpretation of applicable state legislation and regulation, client retention, and overall client satisfaction within the line of business.
In addition, the individual will interface with health plan clients to meet quality regulatory targets for their line of business.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field
5 or more years of related experience
Strong knowledge of the PBM industry and Government Regulated Programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace
Strong communication skills, including presentations and documentation
Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies
Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, handle multiple projects and clients at once and prioritize to meet deadlines required
Ability to work towards specific deliverables within an environment of tight deadlines
Excellent customer service skills required
