Betty Jean Kerr People's Health Centers Job Description Job Title: DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES Department: CLINICAL Reports To: VICE PRESIDENT OF CLINICAL SERVICES FLSA Status: EXEMPT Prepared By: HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT Job Description BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Under the leadership of the Vice President of Clinical Services, the Clinical Services Director is responsible for the success of the day-to-day clinical operations of the organization, ensuring departments and functions are meeting established goals. The Clinical Services Director provides organizational leadership by building and overseeing relationships within clinical operations. He/she works to ensure that the necessary infrastructural process and systems are in place to meet the organization's strategic plan. Responsible to implement organizational processes in accordance with policies and strategic direction as established by the Executive Team. Develops systems and procedures necessary to drive efficient operations across health centers. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities * Ability to lead a team * Ability to function independently * Knowledge of FQHC/CHC Standards * Knowledge of Infection Control Principles Knowledge of Revenue Cycle * Ability to navigate the electronic health record PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Indicate the appropriate physical requirements of this job in the course of a shift.
