Operations Strategic Partnership Director

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Operations Strategic Partnership Director will be responsible for driving resolution for operational issues and providing strategic solutions while managing the initiatives and escalations that impact the health plan markets.

How you will make an impact:

Client and Leadership Interaction:

  • Representing and servicing as an advisor on behalf of Health Benefits Organization by proactively sharing operational impacts and results to the health plan markets.

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders and demonstrating strong executive presence both in-person and virtually.

  • Lead meetings, create agendas, and present complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Oversee, manage, address, and resolve issues across business lines to ensure prompt resolution and success.

  • Execute communication strategies that align with the company's objectives.

  • Engage internally and externally to establish, foster, and maintain strong relationships.

Resolution Management:

  • Managing, and resolving issues across business lines to ensure resolution and project success.

  • Drive to delivery while juggling multiple issues simultaneously, maintaining composure under pressure.

  • Collaborate with various teams to identify, address, and effectively resolve client and operational issues, while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Market level drivers that impact operations.

  • Collaborate on root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, recommend sustainable solutions and lead initiatives to implement changes while ensuring minimal disruption.

Leadership:

  • Lead and oversee escalations initiated by regional leaders, Plan Presidents, and/or Plan Presidents senior staff, driving to completion, engaging various functional teams as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with market leadership and as it pertains to key performance metrics impacting their markets and key initiatives.

  • The ability to provide insights and strategies to optimize benefit solutions for clients.

  • Influence stakeholders to support key initiatives and projects.

  • Track and report key metrics, providing insight and results to senior leadership.

  • Monitor and analyze market level trends that impact operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 8 years' experience in a related field, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Graduate degree and/or professional designation related to field preferred.

  • Prior experience in health insurance industry from sales and/or operations with deep knowledge in commercial and/or government sectors with an understanding of a benefit lifecycle from customer decision to claims reimbursement.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • 5+ years of experience in roles requiring presentation skills and executive interaction.

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management capacity and a proven record of accomplishment in client-facing or leadership-facing roles.

  • Experience with project planning, organization, and the ability to manage complex, multifaceted deliverables.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $122,808 to $192,984.

Locations: Denver, CO; Las Vegas, NV
