Applications are invited for a full-time hybrid Marketing Coordinator in the Center for Dissemination and Implementation (CDI) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford. CDI consists of three national centers and numerous addiction and mental health services implementation projects at national, health system, state, county and community levels. CDI’s mission is to advance the science of implementation and improve equitable access to the best treatments available for the people who need them the most. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with the execution of marketing and communications activities across projects, including two National Institute on Drug Abuse-funded national Centers, the Center for Dissemination and Implementation At Stanford (C-DIAS) and the HEAL Data2Action Research Adoption Support Center (RASC). We are looking for a high energy, creative, and mission-driven person, with excellent writing and graphic design skills. We would like someone with experience and familiarity with website management (Wordpress), working with design and communications platforms such as Mailchimp/Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe InDesign, Slack, Google Analytics. This position is an excellent opportunity to have meaningful societal impact with national visibility. This position is hybrid with Tuesdays/Thursdays based in Stanford’s Research Park.

Duties include:

  • Provide administrative support to the CDI team and leadership, assisting in all marketing and communication activities for the programs within the CDI.

  • Assist with marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including coordinating with internal stakeholders.

  • Draft, edit, and schedule select marketing communications for a variety of channels (i.e., web, print, email, online).

  • Monitor, track and report marketing program effectiveness.

  • Review and report post-event/program/campaign data.

  • Assist in quality control of data and marketing materials.

  • Support the planning and execution of events.

  • Support the creation and launch of tools and processes to improve marketing efforts.

  • Contribute to vendor selection, arrangements, and scheduling.

  • Coordinate vendor estimates and invoice processing.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of CDI’s major programs, services, events and products.

  • Work with the leadership in creating, updating and maintaining all CDI program websites.

  • Assist with monitoring and ensuring that collaborators and products adhere to brand guidelines.

  • Support with website subpages and social media account management.

  • Collect and edit content submissions for CDI newsletters, manage the review and publication process.

  • Implement and post content on CDI social media channels according to content creation and storytelling plans.

  • Represent the brand(s) by attending and/or planning conferences and other community events, including helping to design communications materials like conference programs, signage, booths, giveaways, etc.

  • Other duties may also be assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience or interest in a mental health, addiction, health or social service related field is a plus.

  • Familiarity working with design and communications platforms such as Constant Contact, Adobe InDesign, Canva, etc.

  • Understanding of brand management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking.

The expected pay range for this position is $25.48 to $39.42 per hour.
