Electrical Technician, Senior Key Role: Provide senior level electronic support to the Navy by providing expertise in areas of modification, repair, testing, and trial support of oceanographic data collection assets. Provide on-going senior-level technical assistance and support to organizational programs and projects which may include hardware assembly, electrical integration, and testing of systems in land and marine based environments. Support quality control needs for inspection of systems, subassemblies, and tooling. Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality. Assemble and install equipment or parts requiring wiring, soldering, or connecting. Read electrical schematics, repair, and populate prototype circuit boards including surface mount boards. Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures. Order and replace parts as needed.
You Have:
10+ years of experience providing electronic technician expertise on oceanographic systems
Experience performing work to J-STD and IPC 610 standards
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
