The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a range of entry to SME-level Network Specialists to join our dynamic team supporting Cyber Security Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a component of Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If you are a motivated individual looking to contribute to a critical mission, CACI would like to speak with you.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. The candidate should speak well in front of an audience and be able to present briefs to high-ranking government personnel and be able to provide whiteboard sessions and presentations to personnel in a clear, concise but comprehensive manner.

What You’ll Get to Do:
Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, software, and other network and system problems
Coordinates computer network access and use
Designs, configures, and tests networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software
Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Reporting network status
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Cyber Security Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred
IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4 certification
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional planning skills and ability to work within change management parameters
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Able to communicate clearly and professionally with senior customers to field and troubleshooting questions and issue
Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques.
Education/Experience:
Entry
- BS/BA degree or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience in Infrastructure/Systems Administration. An associate degree plus 4 yrs work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Journeyman
- BS/BA degree or equivalent and 3-10 years of experience in Infrastructure/Systems Administration. A Journeyman labor category typically performs all functional duties independently. Six years’ work experience or an Associate degree plus 4 yrs work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Senior
- BS/BA degree or equivalent and 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Systems Administration and a master’s degree. Twelve years’ work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree plus 8 yrs work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree.
SME
- BS/BA degree or equivalent and 15+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Systems Administration and a master’s degree in addition to certifications in the applicable subject matter area. Twelve years’ work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree plus 20 yrs work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Previous DHS or DoD experience
CISCO Certification

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$57,500-$117,900
