Job Title: Process Tech/Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Process Tech/Supervisor with extensive experience in the automotive industry. This role involves overseeing the production floor, managing mold changes, performing light maintenance, and supervising a team. The ideal candidate will be strong in plastic injection molding and the ability to troubleshoot and process parts efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mold changes (1-3 per day) and prepare molds for production

  • Manage the production floor and ensure smooth operations

  • Conduct light maintenance, such as fixing hydraulic leaks or broken water lines

  • Process parts and troubleshoot any issues that arise

  • Supervise and lead the team, including performance management and disciplinary actions if necessary

  • Fill out end-of-shift paperwork, including scrap and production numbers

Essential Skills

  • 5 years or more of recent plastic injection mold experience

  • 2 years of recent management experience, leading a team of 3 or more

  • Ability to conduct mold changes (1100 - 2200 tons)

  • Proficiency in navigating through Excel and Word

  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to fix a water line

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Experience in processing and troubleshooting plastic parts

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

This is a direct-hire position based out of STERLING HEIGHTS, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $75000.00/yr.
