Description

We are seeking a meticulous Grant Accountant to join our team. As a Grant Accountant, your role will be to ensure precise and efficient management of grant-related financial activities. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and focuses on using various accounting software systems, auditing, managing budgets, and performing accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the Abila MIP system effectively

• Utilize various Accounting Software Systems to manage financial transactions

• Offer financial services with the aid of the ADP system

• Engage in the creation and management of Banner Ads

• Operate the Bloomberg Terminal for financial data analysis

• Oversee all accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy

• Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance with accounting standards

• Manage budget processes to ensure the effective allocation of resources

• Oversee capital management to ensure the financial health of the organization

• Monitor and manage cash activity for optimal financial operations.

Requirements • Proficiency in Abila MIP and other Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Banner Ads and Bloomberg Terminal

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in Auditing practices

• Experience with Budget Processes

• Understanding of Capital Management strategies

• Ability to manage Cash Activity efficiently

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
