Robert Half Shared Services Manager in Sugar Creek, Missouri

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Shared Services Manager in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry, based in SUGAR CREEK, Missouri. As a Shared Services Manager, your core focus will be on managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams within our Finance department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial transactions, and optimizing the financial shared services function.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, providing leadership and mentorship.

• Facilitate efficient and accurate financial transactions and processes.

• Streamline the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to improve overall efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in financial transactions.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks within the shared services function.

• Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and customers, resolving any inquiries or issues professionally and promptly.

• Generate regular reports on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable performance, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and optimize financial systems.

• Stay informed on relevant software and technology trends to enhance operational efficiency.

• Provide ongoing training to team members on financial systems, processes, and best practices.

• Assist in developing and managing the budget for the shared services department. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role within the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry.

• Proven expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Demonstrated skills in Process Improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency and productivity through process improvement strategies.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
