Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
This individual will be responsible for directing, researching, designing, developing, documenting, and producing computer or electronic equipment. An ideal candidate will need to apply electrical theory and related knowledge to design, build, troubleshoot, repair, and/or modify development and production computer systems and related hardware/software. This candidate will also be responsible for Technical Leadership including, well-grounded Electrical Engineer principles, design reviews, working with external customers, and leading junior engineers.
Responsibilities
Creation of Specifications and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) as needed.
Create detailed design of the system including PC Boards and firmware if necessary.
Manage Preliminary, Critical, and Final Design reviews, including PDR, CDR, Prototype builds, and FDR.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in technology through publications, seminars, trade shows, internet, vendors, distributors, manufacturers/reps, organizations, broadcasting, continuous education, and apply new knowledge to job/projects/products/processes.
Comprehend and execute all tasks through project management.
Meet due dates for all project or customer-related tasks and action items.
Conduct due diligence on the design to reduce errors and re-spins.
Design for Manufacturing.
Essential Skills
Altium
Electrical Engineering Fundamentals
Leadership experience
Familiarity with Aerospace and Defense standards
Experience with Cadence, Eagle, or similar packages
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in Aerospace and Defense
Understanding of mil standards
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
