Amazon Senior Account Manager, Amazon Devices Solutions in Sunnyvale, California

Description

The Amazon Device Solutions (ADS) team is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive complex account relationships and strategic initiatives in our rapidly growing B2B business. You will be responsible for defining and executing account strategies that accelerate the adoption of ADS products, including our digital signage solutions and other technologies. Working closely with our Product, Business Development, and Launch teams, you'll manage relationships with key business customers and technology partners to ensure their success with ADS solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and execute complex account strategies to drive adoption of ADS products and services across enterprise customers

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior-level stakeholders at key accounts and technology partners

  • Provide tailored recommendations that improve senior-leader account decision-maker experience (ADMX) and customer experience (CX)

  • Define and scale new business opportunities for existing and potential accounts

  • Drive alignment between customer needs and ADS product roadmap through close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams

  • Create and present business reviews and strategic recommendations to Director-level and above

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve account management processes and playbooks

  • Actively mentor team members and contribute to the development of account management best practices

  • Manage complex problem resolution and strategic escalations

A day in the life

Your day might start with a strategic planning session for a major business account, followed by a business review with senior stakeholders. By midday, you could be collaborating with Product teams to align customer needs with our roadmap. The afternoon might involve mentoring team members and working on process improvements. Throughout the day, you'll balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, driving results while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with annual brand and media planning

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in account management or related customer-facing roles

  • Experience working with CMS providers and AV/System integrators

  • Experience working with vertical customers in Education, Retail, Corporate, and others

  • Proven track record of managing complex B2B relationships and driving business growth

  • Experience defining and executing account strategies with limited guidance

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience hiring and developing sales management teams

  • MBA or advanced degree in related field

  • Experience in digital signage, IoT, or enterprise technology sectors

  • Knowledge of Amazon's technology ecosystem and business model

  • Track record of successful strategic planning and execution in B2B contexts

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to drive complex initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders

  • Experience developing and optimizing account management processes

  • Multi-lingual fluency

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)

  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner

  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at the senior leadership level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $182,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
