About the Job

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler, we need someone who is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials.

Pay Rate:

• Entry Rate: $18.04

• 3-month Progression Increase: $19.13

• Plus $1.00 shift differential.

Shift: 3rd Shift

• Monday - Friday.

• 11:30 PM-8:00 AM.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick up customer orders and convey orders to packing stations or shipping areas.

Major Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking, and label vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments and stock material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

• Operates forklift equipment.

• Maintainsclean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.

• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.

• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.

• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
