Product Development Engineer

What is the job about?

Develop and engineer product configurators with a cross functional team, meeting customer demands agreed with Product groups.

Analyze, define and implement (engineer) features in configurators to secure a fit between customer needs, available product features and production capability.

Your main responsibilities:

· Secure configurators with a high benefit ratio in relation to possible solutions on a global market

· Responsible for defining specifications making each configurator a benefit in the entire value chain

· Build configurators scalable meeting future product extensions and service developments

· Each configurator is to be designed as a part of a program with shared nomenclature and consistent user experience

· Prepare price condition structure supporting both up- and down-stream pricing (Gross- and GRP-prices)

· Maintain the Front-End Configuration setup within relevant configurators.

· Specify requirements to improve our tools.

· Follow team prioritization and support on agreed activities within the sprint

· Communicate to SCRUM Team and Product owner the status of your own tasks

· Contribute, support and ensure well-functioning and self-organized SCRUM team

What do you need to apply?

We expect you have:

  • Should be educated as Bachelor, Engineering or similar

  • Technical background(Mechanical or Electrical)

  • Careful, detail oriented, effective and service mind

  • Must have a good understanding of written and spoken English

  • Good at Microsoft office, especially Excel;

  • Has ERP system experience

  • 13years working experiences in configuration area.

  • Data collection/project coordination
