Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.

What your background should look like:

1. Lead the design and development of high voltage terminals for various applications.

2. Create detailed engineering specifications and designs for terminal components.

3. Conduct simulations and analyses to evaluate performance and reliability.

4. Technical communication to customer, confirm customer application and technical requirement.

5. Translate customer’s requirement into engineering specification and provide new product design solution in time.

6. Involve in the improved product design regarding to the product DV and PV test methods, test fixture, and standards/specs.

7. Tracking test progress, analysis the test result, responsible for resolving product design and test problems.

8. Responsible for part list/BOM building, 3D models and 2D drawings, GD&T, product specifications, application specifications, DFMEA, DVPR, SC/CC list etc.
