Assist with the efficient, cost-effective operation, maintenance of services within the allocated property to ensure plant reliability, tenant satisfaction, sustainability and preservation of property assets, safety of all services and systems, essential services, building structure and risk management. Supervise contractors for high levels of service performance.

The Facilities Coordinator has the responsibility to maintain and foster healthy, productive and harmonious professional relationships between the client, tenants, staff, associates and employer which embodies and consistently promotes the CBRE Corporate Values, Ethos, Policies and Practices.

Finally, the Facilities Coordinator will be a self-motivated individual who can successfully negotiate, communicate and liaise with multiple levels within an organisation, whilst possessing impeccable personnel presentation standards.

The opportunity:

Concierge:

  • Concierge duties include greeting all guests, resolving problems proactively, and promoting concierge services to improve customer experience.

  • Strong emphasis on professional communication both face-to-face and online, along with execution of specific customer service tasks.

  • Lobby management includes identifying opportunities to enhance lobby experience, managing OH&S procedures, and maintaining up-to-date tenant details.

  • The concierge is also responsible for driving tenant engagement and promoting collaboration to maximize concierge services.

  • Accountable for end of trip facilities, ensuring cleanliness, identifying areas of improvement, and monitoring usage of bike storage and towel use.

Facilities Coordinator:

  • Achieve and ideally exceed prior years' tenant survey results and industry benchmarks.

  • Assist the Facility Manager in delivering the capital works program and maintaining operating expenditure within budget, while complying with DEXUS's business procedures and laws.

  • Ensure third-party contracts are in place before works commence and manage contractor/sub-contractor relationships and performance.

  • Deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all plant and equipment, achieving all relevant KPIs outlined in the agreement between DEXUS and CBRE.

  • Work with the Facilities Manager to monitor services in buildings, rectify service failures, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with strong customer service skills is necessary.

  • Should possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to manage relationships.

  • Proficiency in call handling, query resolution, and use of Microsoft Office Suite and call centre technologies.

  • Previous experience in Front Desk, Concierge, or other hospitality roles would be beneficial.

  • Superior problem-solving skills, ability to adapt, and work independently with a passion for providing excellent user experiences.
