Syracuse University Becker Family Professor of Practice in Conflict and Collaboration in Syracuse, New York

The Department of Public Administration and International Affairs (PAIA) and the Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration (PARCC) at the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs seek to appoint the Becker Family Professor of Practice in Conflict and Collaboration. This full-time, two-year position (with a contingent option for extension) is expected to begin in August 2025. Compensation will be commensurate with the professional experience of appointee and includes full benefits.

The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs is home to the social science disciplines at Syracuse University and is ranked #1 in the nation for graduate education in public affairs, according to the 2024 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools. The successful candidate will be based in PARCC, an interdisciplinary center that advances research, education, and practice in conflict analysis and resolution, collaborative problem solving, and collaborative governance, and will have the opportunity to work with other research centers across the Maxwell School.
