Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper for a contract to hire employment opportunity in Syracuse, New York. This role falls within the financial industry and requires an individual who can handle multiple tasks in a corporate setting. Your primary function will be to manage accounts, assist with monthly closures, and handle various financial duties.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing and management of accounts payable.

• Provide assistance in managing accounts receivable.

• Assist in the closure of accounts at the end of each month and ensure accurate journal entries.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

• Perform other financial duties as assigned, such as data entry and payroll management.

• Utilize software tools like Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks for bookkeeping tasks.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks, ensuring all customer credit records are up-to-date.

• Apply skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) to effectively handle account management.

• Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure all financial records align.

• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Proven experience in Bookkeeping

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close processes

• Knowledge of Payroll systems and processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
