C&S Engineers Business Development Manager – Automation & Control in Syracuse, New York

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help grow our Automation & Control practice in the building automation and industrial automation sectors.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead and support the technical team with strategic pursuits through the pre-sell, estimating, proposal, and interview stages.

  • Have existing industry relationships and a commitment to expanding upon those relationships to position C&S for opportunities with industrial, commercial, and public clients.

  • Develop new business prospects and opportunities as well as support existing customer relationship management efforts.

  • Assist the team with strategic initiatives

  • Collaborate with other business development staff at C&S.

  • Demonstrate an approach that aligns with the C&S core values of integrity, authenticity, team spirit and all-in.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or technical field.

  • A deep technical knowledge of HVAC and industrial fluid process systems.

  • 5 or more years of BD or management experience in Automation, engineering design, construction, or similar practice.

Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits

$75,000/year plus commission*
