The duties of the international student advisor go beyond advising students. They entail a full complement of responsibilities that are necessary to ensure the running of a complicated student service operation, including some weekends, nights and holidays. This position assists the Assistant Director at the English Language Institute and International Programs with a wide array of administrative and student services functions, initiates and organizes student events/programs, both on and off campus, manages and coordinates many facets of the International Year Program.

This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
