Available Shifts:
3rd - Full-Time - 10-hour shift (paid meal period) on a rotating schedule of 8 days on, 6days off (schedule may vary during training).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing analytical testing on production samples and finished product samples to determine compliance with FDA, NYS regulations and Company standards.
Ability to engage in analytical thinking and investigations to determine root cause of quality nonconformance issues
Responsible for receiving trailers of bulk products and testing of raw and heat-treated dairy ingredients to determine compliance with FDA, NYS regulations and Company standards.
Must follow all SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists
Maintain area cleanliness, report leaks and/or out of spec product and participate in continuous improvement efforts
Follow all safety requirements to include housekeeping, lock out/tag out, PPE, fall protection, and facility safety efforts
Expectations:
Ability to work independently which may include interrupted meal periods – Company provides paid meal periods
Ability to stand/walk, and perform physical work such as heavy lifting, climbing (up to 12ft), bending, etc.
Operate in varied temperature ranges
Ability to communicate with co-workers, and management in a clear and respectful manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and coordinate various activities
Perform other duties as assigned

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
