What you will do
The Administration and Contract Support Services (ACSS) Associate is responsible for executing day-to-day ACSS support across different functions to Amgen. You are responsible for supporting contract management, Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle management, Healthcare Professionals (HCP) Contracting, and sponsorships/fees for service/donations/educational processes support. You will enforce to the continuous improvement agenda of the Amgen Capability Center Portugal (ACCP) and specific legal support for Administration and Contract Support Services (ACSS) including corporate administration and intercompany agreement management.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
Accountable to deliver agreed Amgen Capability Center Portugal (ACCP) Admin and Contract support activities
Responsible for delivering Amgen Capability Center Portugal (ACCP) contract management support
Implement activities in line with the business processes and compliance requirements
Support vendor Management (data)
Support contract management and housekeeping
PO creation and status management
Invoice approval
Activities check against Compliance requirements
Support compliance reporting HCR Management, Data Capture with Spend Capture Form (SCF) and Consent management
Following policies and procedures
Coordinating activities review, approval, contract management, payments and documents reconciliation workflows in business and compliance controls systems, i.e. C3
Support vendor Management Health Care Professional/ Health Care Organization (HCP/HCO)
Support contract management Health Care Professional/ Health Care Organization (HCP/HCO)
Health Care Professional/ Health Care Organization - Purchase Order HCP/HCO PO creation and status management
Payments management
Responsible for completing the Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle support working with different team members (e.g., RAEs, vendors)
Acts as buddy to new joiners
Responsible to support the audit team with any requirements / information
Responsible for recognizing and advancing problems or risks, as and when they arise in line with the business requirements
Adapt, support, and chip in to the growth and Continuous Improvement (CI) of the department and Amgen Capability Center Portugal (ACCP)

Our ideal candidate has presentations and data compilation skills. You are good at following the processes and procedures necessary to succeed; understand how to collaborate, work in a large team, and are set on Project Delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma and 10 years of administration work experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 8 years of administration work experience
OR
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of administration work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Provides administrative/ functional expertise
Integrates knowledge and experience as a skilled specialist
May integrate knowledge of Amgen and discernment to support the function
Provides mentorship and advice to others
Solves sophisticated administrative problems which may impact multiple work areas or departments
May develop new techniques and procedures leading to greater effectiveness and/or efficiency
May provide on-the-job training and mentorship to other team members
Exercises subtlety and persuasion in communications with internal and external customers
Chips in to department/unit through the quality and efficiency of own work
