Job Summary:
The Designer - Hospitals will be a highly skilled and creative professional responsible for contributing to the design and development of innovative and high-quality healthcare facilities within the NEOM The Line project. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare architecture, a patient-centered design approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of design concepts and schemes for hospital facilities, considering factors such as functionality, patient flow, safety, and aesthetics.
Prepare and present design proposals, sketches, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and detail design drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
Conduct research and analysis on relevant industry trends, best practices, and innovative healthcare design solutions.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, medical professionals, and other design professionals to ensure the integrated design and delivery of the project.
Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and equipment.
Ensure the design complies with all relevant building codes, regulations, and healthcare standards.
Contribute to the development of design documentation and specifications.
Participate in design reviews and construction meetings.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare architecture and technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on healthcare facility design (hospitals, clinics, etc.).
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Passion for innovative design and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
