Adecco US, Inc. CNC Programmer in Tacoma, Washington
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in Siemens NX and Vericut software. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience programming 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines, ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC programming, tooling, and machining operations to produce complex aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines, ensuring accurate and efficient machining of complex parts.
Simulate and verify CNC programs using Vericut software to identify and resolve potential issues before production.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to review design specifications, select appropriate tools, and determine the best machining strategies.
Adjust and troubleshoot CNC programs as needed to improve machining performance and reduce cycle times.
Maintain and update CNC program libraries, ensuring that all programs are properly documented and version-controlled.
Conduct machine setup and first article inspections to ensure that the programs are producing parts to the required specifications.
Provide technical support to machine operators and resolve any programming-related issues that may arise during production.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC programming, machining technology, and software updates to continuously improve processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with a strong background in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines.
Proficiency in Siemens NX and Vericut software is required.
Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A degree or certification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
