General Motors Instruction Systems Designer in Taguig City, Philippines
Job Description

Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on late mid shift (5pm-2am / 6pm-3am PHT) . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
The ISD is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of end user training materials. The candidate must be versatile and able to provide business skills, soft skills and technical skills training.
What You'll Do
Design and develop training material using instructional design techniques and tools and using various media: Virtual Classroom training, web based training, instructor led, self-paced, video conferencing, job aids, etc.
Create instructor materials: course outlines, teaching and visual aids, reference material, instructional materials, training aids, etc.
Develop and support training plans for new system and process introductions
Gather, analyze, and define end user requirements for training in accordance with business objectives
Plan, direct, and conduct presentations, webinars, classroom training, electronic learning sessions, multimedia programs, and other instructional workshops
Schedule, organize, and facilitate the delivery of curriculum and other educational programming
Write, edit, and coordinate development of course catalogs, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, brochures, etc.
Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts in the design and development of training curricula, media, and materials
Provide continuous project leadership, coordination, and review to ensure that objectives, standards, budgets, and timeframes for project completion are met
Regularly assess and analyze training needs, identify gaps and recommend solutions
Work with company leadership to assess and further develop training programs as needed and interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for content gathering and validation
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design/Technology, Education, Communication or closely related field of study
Highly developed skill in instructional design and methodology
Expertise in training development for various delivery methodology: instructor led training, web based training, job aids, virtual classroom training, and blended learning
Exceptional project management skills
High level of interpersonal skills with all levels of management and medical personnel
The ability to balance many related activities to achieve a common goal
High level of oral and written communication skills with strong technical writing and facilitation skills
Proficiency in the following tools and systems: Articulate, Lectora, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, MacroMedia Captivate, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's Degree in Instructional Design/Technology, Education, or closely related field of study.
Five years of experience in course development, curriculum design, training or e-learning, preferably in technical education
Experience in the automotive industry or a strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes
