The Opportunity
Nutanix is looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial Sales professional to help Nutanix drive our continued growth in our Service Provider business across our Americas theater. About the Team
The MSP Sales Specialist - Americas will be a vital member of the Service Providers team at Nutanix. This team operates across the Americas with a remote-friendly setup that fosters a collaborative and dynamic work culture. Our mission is to drive growth within the Service Provider market by building robust partnerships and delivering innovative solutions that meet customer needs. You will report to the Director, Service Providers - Americas, who is known for their hands-on leadership style and strong focus on mentorship and professional growth. The manager encourages an open-door policy, promoting an environment where team members are empowered to share ideas and take initiative. This role is primarily remote, requiring minimal in-office presence, allowing for flexibility and a comfortable work-life balance.
This position will entail approximately 50%+ travel, as you will be engaging with Service Provider partners and customers across various locations. The role demands a proactive approach to relationship building and collaboration, necessitating frequent visits to drive business objectives and strengthen partnerships.
Your Role
Drive revenue and pipeline goals in the Service Provider market through strategic sales activities.
Manage the full sales cycle, partnering closely with Service Provider prospects and customers.
Develop and execute comprehensive business plans focused on relationship building and joint solution development.
Collaborate with Nutanix Account Managers to promote Service Provider offerings and close tenant deals.
Define and track business metrics, conducting regular reviews and briefings with stakeholders.
Educate partner stakeholders on Nutanix's value proposition and ensure alignment with growth strategies.
Focus on creating long-term strategies while effectively handling tactical operations and business activities.
Foster strong partnerships with Service Provider organizations, acting as their internal champion and advocate.
What You Will Bring
10+ years of experience collaborating with sales teams focused on Service Providers.
Strong business acumen and hands-on leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for building relationships.
Proficient in infrastructure and cloud solutions, IT services management, and databases.
Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities to maximize growth.
Ability to inspire and negotiate without explicit authority.
Highly organized with a proven track record of executing focused plans.
Highest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 245,680 and USD $ 368,520 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
