Purpose of Role

The Under Armour DTC Delivery Team is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to join our team of project and program management professionals. As a member of the Delivery Team, you will work closely with Product Management, Design, Engineering, QA, Supplier Partners, and other business stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of digital products and features. We need someone who is detail-oriented, superior ability to communicate, excellent at team motivation & accountability, and committed to delivering on time, with a high-quality bar. It doesn’t hurt if you are passionate about sport and the latest fitness gear. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects across multiple cross functional teams to build seamless digital and physical retail experiences.

• Direct activities across cross-functional teams (Digital Product, UX Design, Engineering, QA, etc.), managing dependencies proactively.

• Inspire teamwork without direct reporting authority, focusing on the health and productivity of your product development team.

• Bridge gaps between the Product Owner and Development team, ensuring the product backlog is well-maintained and ready for development.

• Conduct Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Sprint Reviews and Demos.

• Maintain project artifacts in business systems like SharePoint, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Confluence and JIRA. Create project monitoring tools like weekly status reports, project health dashboards and risk and decision logs.

• Escalate issues impacting delivery timelines and work proactively to remove barriers to project execution.

• Act as a liaison to teams outside the core product development team, such as Omni Channel, Loyalty, Enterprise Data Management, Cyber Security and Legal, and help them interact with your team.

• Innovate with the wider DTC PMO Delivery team to create strategies for more effective program and project delivery.

• Reports status on project commitments and team objectives to all levels of the organization, tailoring your message for each audience.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of waterfall, agile principles, scrum and scaled agile methodologies.

• Strong understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.

• Acute attention to detail and exemplary communication & organization skills.

• Proficiency in software dependency management across technology stacks, for example middleware services, web, and native applications.

• Flexibility to help teams execute without perfect process or overbearing checklists.

• Ability to coordinate with third party vendors and remote teams so your team can deliver against commitments.

• Ability to distinguish between value-adding processes and those that impede teams.

• Appreciation for attention to detail and the effort required to build a project plan.

Education and/or Experience

• 5-7 years of experience working in a cross-functional team environment with a track record of being a part of software projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian JIRA & Confluence or Service Now

• Experience delivering consumer software products – either as a business analyst, software developer or project manager.

• Experience coordinating software releases across multiple teams, including external groups like customer support and marketing.

Base Compensation

$98,344.00 - $135,223.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
