Job Title: General Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a strong background in sales within the fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with government contract sales and the ability to close deals. This role involves overseeing a facility of 17 employees and managing sales and operations for custom fabrication products.

Responsibilities

• Bring in accounts from prior sales experience in the fabrication industry.

• Close deals, preferably with government contracts.

• Oversee and manage the facility and its 17 employees.

• Run facility and sales operations for custom fabrication products.

• Handle operations management, including quotes, estimating, and RFP experience.

• Utilize expertise in beam line, press brake, and welding.

Essential Skills

• Sales experience in the fabrication industry.

• Experience with government contract sales and closing deals.

• Operations management skills.

• Proficiency in quotes, estimating, and RFP processes.

• Experience with beam line, press brake, and welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-air-conditioned machine shop setting, equipped with press brake, angle rollers, beam lines, and welding machinery. The standard hours are 8am-4:30pm, but the role may require up to 60 hours of work per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tampa, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Competitive pay plus 3-5% commission on every sale
