• On Call: No Job Summary: The Genetics Counselor Assistant will provide support to the genetic counselors and department in day-to- day activities, such as case preparations, processing genetic testing documentation, as well as working closely with various laboratories, referring provider offices, and internal departments. The Genetic Counselor Assistant will manage incoming referrals and contact patient for scheduling appointments. They will maintain various spreadsheets utilized by the genetic counseling team. Required Qualifications: • Require a Bachelor's degree in biological, genetics, or health science or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: • Prefer knowledge of genetics and genetic concepts. • Prefer demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other commonly used applications. • Prefer knowledge of family history, pedigree and genetic health risks.
