The Architecture Analyst for the Architecture and Planning team is critical to streamline our operations, enhance collaboration, and ensure timely delivery of projects and documentation across multiple stakeholders, including Cybersecurity, Infrastructure & Operations (I&O), and key governance committees.
Domestic and international travel may be required as needed
Responsibilies
Research and Business Analysis: Conduct research and business analysis to support strategic architecture initiatives. Facilitate requirements gathering and author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) as needed for internal Architecture projects.
Technical Writing and Documentation: Write and manage technical documentation, including policies, SOPs, and technical diagrams. Collaborate with SMEs to ensure clarity and consistency. Participate in the creation and management of share architecture and technical documentation across teams.
Roadmaps and Governance: Assist in the development and maintenance of GTIL internal technology roadmaps, global Network Technology Roadmap (NTR), principles and standards, global data strategy, identity management, and others as needed.
Project Management: Independently manage internal Architecture projects under the direction of the Director when needed, ensuring successful execution and alignment with strategic objectives. Monitor progress of deliverables, identify potential delays, and ensure quality standards.
Sprint Ceremonies in Scrum: When needed, lead sprint ceremonies take detailed notes, track action items, and ensure follow-ups for internal Architecture projects as required.
Backlog Management: Manage backlogs for cross team activity within the Architecture Team, write epics, features, and user stories for Architecture internal projects. Define acceptance criteria and prioritize tasks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare agendas, lead meetings, and act as a liaison between the architecture team and stakeholders. Follow up with actionable notes.
Meeting facilitation: Lead meetings when required and capture and distribute meeting minutes for IT and committees, ensuring effective communication.
Education
Bachelor’s degree – Or equivalent experience
Skills
Highly organized, able to distill technical information into clear, actionable documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, delivering innovative solutions.
Extensive experience in research, business analysis, and monitoring deliverables for successful outcomes.
Proven ability to manage and deliver strategic and technical documentation with clarity and consistency.
Skilled in preparing for meetings and leading productive stakeholder engagements, ensuring actionable outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills, effectively liaising between teams and stakeholders.
Experience
15+ years of experience in Information Technology
10+ years of experience developing both technical and business requirements
10+ years of professional experience in a business analysis role
10+ years of proven technical writing experience, specializing in creating clear, concise, and audience-specific documentation
7+ years of experience collaborating with technical architecture teams to develop and implement solutions
