The Congenital Heart Program Manager oversees and manages the congenital heart program at St Joseph’s Hospital from fetal to adult congenital to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care.

• Manages, coordinates, and works with multidisciplinary team members/physicians including cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, non-invasive lab and support staff.

• Partners with administration and physicians to develop/contribute to long-term program development and growth strategies.

• Implements and monitors quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and program efficiency. Manages program resources including budget, equipment and staffing.

• Manages the care of the patient population and practices expert critical thinking, promoting aligning the congenital heart program quality metrics with the broader intuitional goals.

• Ensures the program adheres to relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

• Works with other departments and specialties (neonatology, pediatrics, anesthesiology, etc.) to collaborate and create standardized care pathways for common congenital heart conditions.

• Facilitates collaborative research efforts that span multiple departments.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor Degree in Nursing or a Healthcare related field is required with 3 years or nursing or healthcare related experience

• A master's degree in Nursing or a HealthCare related field is required with 2 years of nursing or healthcare related experience
