Position: Modeling and Simulation Analyst (Mid to Senior Level)
Location: Tampa, FL
Overview:
Group W, Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking an experienced and resourceful Modeling and Simulation Analyst with programming experience in AFSIM, R, Python, and
other models to perform analysis of US military planning activities. Specific to the AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling) Analyst, the candidate will perform engagement- and mission-level analysis. The successful individual should be proficient with campaign, mission, and engagement level models, simulations, and other operations research techniques.
Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in physics, mathematics, engineering, or an applied science discipline
- 2+ years' experience with AFSIM
Preferred:
- Master's degree in operations research, physics, engineering, computer science or an applied science discipline
- 5+ years' experience performing campaign/mission modeling and analysis using models such as EADSIM, AFSIM, or SUPRESSOR
- Prior military experience or analysis conducted at the theater or joint task force level conducting planning or performing operational assessments
- Familiarity with theater OPLANs and/or Defense Planning Scenarios
Responsibilities:
- Applies mastery-level skill in advanced analytical, mathematical, or statistical techniques related to statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, simulation, decision theory, mathematical programming, and regression analysis
- Applies skills to solve highly complex problems using statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, simulation, and regression analysis
- Serve as an analyst responsible for developing and executing analytical models and methods that support warfighting analyses at the engagement level
- Develop and execute mission-level representations and analyses of US, allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation
- Advise other operations research analysts, scientists, or engineers on techniques best suited for tasked problems
- Support pre-and post-wargame analysis using AFSIM and other MandS tools

Salary: $115,000 to $160,000
(compensation depends on level of relevant experience)
